2027 Cadillac Lyriq
Shoppers who want an electric SUV with real range and a cabin that feels finished often find the segment full of similar answers. The 2027 Cadillac LYRIQ offers a 102 kWh battery, a 33-inch Horizon Display and up to 525 km of range in rear-wheel-drive form. Six trims are sold in Canada, two of them with a rear-wheel-drive option, and the LYRIQ-V sits above them as the high-performance step.
What’s new on the 2027 Cadillac LYRIQ?
Google built-in and 5G connectivity are standard on the trims, while higher grades add a 23-speaker AKG Studio audio system and a hands-free power liftgate. For Ontario drivers who split their week between Highway 401 commutes and weekend getaways, the range and charging options are the headline. The sections below cover design, cabin, technology, powertrain and pricing for each version.

Technology
Entertainment
The 33-inch Horizon Display runs Google built-in, which brings Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play for hands-free help and live traffic updates. It also stores personalized profiles for each driver. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, and wireless phone charging plus three front USB-C ports keep devices powered. Luxury and Sport trims use a 7-speaker audio system.
Premium and Signature trims step up to the AKG Studio 23-speaker system with available Dolby Atmos, along with Active Noise Cancellation that uses the speakers to cancel road-induced noise. An Augmented Reality Head-Up Display is optional on Signature trims.
Safety
Super Cruise provides hands-free driving on compatible roads and prompts you to keep watching the road. Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert and Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking handle the road ahead. Blind Zone Steering Assist and Side Bicyclist Alert watch the adjacent lanes, and the Safety Alert Seat signals the direction of a threat with seat vibrations.
Backing up is covered by Rear Cross Traffic Braking, Reverse Automatic Braking and Rear Pedestrian Alert. HD Surround Vision and Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist suit tight urban lots. Premium and Signature trims add a Rear Camera Mirror and a Rear Camera Washer that clears mud, snow and ice from the lens.

Exterior
The LYRIQ’s face is led by its lighting. Slim-line LED vertical headlamps use ultra-thin, vertically stacked projector segments, and an illuminated grille with laser etch graphics sits between them. Choreographed lighting starts at the Cadillac emblem, moves across the grille and headlamps, continues to the door handles and ends at the LED tail lamps. It begins automatically when the key fob is within 6 feet of the vehicle.
The SUV measures 4,996 mm long, 1,976 mm wide and 1,634 mm tall on a 3,094 mm wheelbase, with 178 mm of ground clearance. Luxury trims wear bright side window surrounds and Galvano door handles. Sport trims switch to dark surrounds and body-colour handles. Luxury and Premium Luxury trims ride on 20-inch split six-spoke wheels, Sport and Premium Sport trims use 20-inch twelve-spoke wheels, and 22-inch wheels are standard on the Signature trims.
A Fixed SkyGlass Roof with a power retractable sunshade is standard, and a Power SkyGlass roof that opens over the first row is optional on Premium and Signature trims.

Interior
Electronic Precision Shift places the gear selector on the steering column, which frees up centre console space for storage. A rotary infotainment controller with jog control sits where the hand naturally falls, as an alternative to the touch screen. Seats are trimmed in Inteluxe with perforated inserts, and Signature trims can add the Nappa Leather Package with Nappa seats in the first and second rows, Nappa armrests and Dark Ash open-pore wood trim. Radiance Lighting offers 126 ambient colours.
The cabin seats five, with 2,976 L of passenger volume and 1,006 mm of second-row legroom. Cargo space measures 793 L behind the second row and 1,722 L behind the first. The 60/40 split-folding rear seat folds one or both sides, and Signature trims add a cargo cover, heated second-row outboard seats and tri-zone climate control.
Dual-zone climate control is used on the other trims, and heated front seats and a heated steering wheel are standard.
Powertrain
The LYRIQ is powered by a 102 kWh battery pack. NRCan range is 525 km on rear-wheel-drive Luxury and Sport trims and 513 km on the all-wheel-drive trims. Regen on Demand, controlled by a steering column paddle, and One-Pedal Driving slow the SUV without the brake pedal, and Automatic Vehicle Hold keeps it steady in stop-and-go traffic. That helps on busy commuter stretches.
An 11.5 kW onboard charging module is standard for Level 2 charging at home, and a 19.2 kW module is optional on Premium and Signature trims. The Dual Level Charge Cord plugs into a standard outlet at 120V/1.4 kW or a NEMA 14-50 outlet at 240V/7.7 kW. The Charging Essentials Package bundles the GM PowerUp 2 NACS home charger (11.5 kW, hardwired, professional installation required) with J1772 AC and CCS1 DC adapters for public stations. All-wheel-drive trims carry trailering provisions, and a hitch is optional.
